The State of the Early Childhood Workforce Initiative is a multi-year project to shine a spotlight on the persistently low pay and inadequate professional supports for the early childhood workforce. Through the dissemination of data and analysis, the Initiative seeks to identify and advance new strategies as well as track promising efforts to secure livable and equitable wages, supportive work environments, and educational opportunities for all early educators.
Stay tuned! In June, CSCCE will release the first resource, the Early Childhood Workforce Index and interactive site, which will provide state-by-state data and policy analysis on the status of early education jobs. Sign up for our mailing list to receive the Index when it is released.
