The Henning Center is a project of the UC Berkeley Labor Center that promotes the study of labor in the global economy, builds relationships among international labor activists and scholars, and conducts policy research on the impact of the global economy on working Californians.

The Henning Center is currently conducting research on the effectiveness of methods of factory monitoring in the global apparel industry, developing leadership training and resource materials for workers in export processing zones, and hosting a series of round table discussions on labor and the global economy with international union leaders.


The Henning Center is a project of the Center for Labor Research and Education at the
Institute for Research on Labor and Employment, University of California, Berkeley.
