It might be hard to believe, but the federal minimum wage is lower right now, accounting for inflation, than it was 30 years ago under President Reagan. President Obama would like to raise the national minimum wage to $9/hr., claiming it will reduce poverty without costing Americans jobs. In this Reality Check report, Sam Brock checks the president.
